Our Story

November 2012
REV opened its doors on Pine Street in Burlington’s trendy South End District with 20 used bicycles, 1200 square feet of space and four instructors. The hallmarks of the studio were a darkened space, no mirrors, beat driven music and attention to detail.
June 2014
REV relocated down the street to Flynn Avenue in the basement of a historic chocolate factory. At 3,000 square feet and 30 bikes, REV also increased the number of teachers and class offerings and started a new program called “REV-X” featuring TRX and strength training.
June 2017
REV opened a state-of-the-art 4,000 square foot fitness facility in South Burlington, with forty-five of the industry’s best indoor cycling bikes, 15 coaches and a jaw dropping 60 class offerings per week during peak season. REV continued to expand its offerings by growing the strength and conditioning program REV-X and increasing its community involvement.
March 2019
REV added 4,000 square feet of space to take its total body conditioning program to the next level.

March 2020

In March the unthinkable happened and we shut down our in-person operations due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While we stopped indoor operations, we didn’t stop serving our community. We pivoted to offer you the best digital content produced by the local trainers you know and love. We continue to provide these services today with “REV On Demand”.

September 2021
Life has a way of returning you to your roots. We are excited to reopen our doors to our community, back where it all began on Pine Street in Burlington. We have brand new, Stages SC2 bikes, premium sound with SOUND OFF EXPERIENCE ™ headphones and we glow up with LED lighting.

About Sarah

REV was founded by Sarah DeGray in 2012 in Burlington, Vermont. Since then she has coached over 5,000 classes and changed the lives of thousands in the greater Burlington community along with her staff of dedicated coaches and motivators.

A life-long athlete, Sarah struggled with her relationship to exercise and food. The gym was often a place of intimidation and shame. After years of searching for a non-judgmental exercise facility, Sarah decided to completely change careers and create her own. She has been a student of indoor cycling since 2005 and never tires from the exhilarating feeling she gets after a great class.

“I continue to evolve my practice and coaching and I invite you to come on this healing movement journey with me. Whether you join in the studio, or online, I believe that everyone has limitless potential and my job is to help you access and unearth your power.”
